I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4 V6, and it seems I have low to no compression in my engine, so the first thing I did was check my oil to see if there was any white or milky way color in my oil to make sure I didn't blow a head gasket and my oil was fine, then I noticed my radiator hose had a hole in it so i assumed it was because of that, so i replaced the Radiator hose and battery and still my car will not start. I spoke with a mechanic and he told that I could pour transmission oil into my spark plugs and compression would be in my engine and it would be fine. But i just want a second opinion and see if there are any other ideas and if this idea will work? I know i'm not a car whiz or anything but I really would like some help!

Have you checked to see if you're getting fire to the spark plugs? What makes you think you have low compression, did your engine over heat? If you really want to check your compression, I'd recommend getting a compression gauge from Auto Zone, they usually have one you can use in their loaner program for a small deposit.
