2000 pontiac montana running hot, 3-4 lines but no check engine light comes on.?

This is a dex engine but son put in wrong type of anti-freeze it never has the check engine light but worries me it could do some damage local tech said not to worry but doesn't seem like wise advise. should I have the radiator flushed or does this sound like a problem outside of the coolant like the thermosstat or water pump?
 
Does It Run Hot Or Over Heat? Will It Over Heat If You Drive It Awhile? Maybe Some Local Tech Took Out The Bulb For The Check Engine Light. Maybe The Thermostat Is Sticking
