...changed? What could be the problem? Some one told me bad wiring but how do i know for sure that is the problem and how do i fix it and how much would that cost?

If nothing in the car is working at all (radio, lights, etc.) then it could be a serious battery wire issue. If these do work, but the engine won't turn over, then it might be the fault of the starter motor or it could be some kind of blown fuse/relay. Check everything electrical out - especially the power distribution box under the hood. If everything looks to be in order (no mouse-chewed wires), take it to a mechanic and he should be able to get it going. As far as cost, it depends wholly on the type and extent of the problem.

First question i have is....What sounds does the car make when you go to start it. This would be a key indicator to where to look. Does it make clicking noises when you go to start it? A quick check under the hood would be to make sure the battery terminals are tight (you should not be able to rotate the wire/connector on the battery) and the same for on the solenoid of the starter. Let us know on the sounds it makes while trying to start.

I should also note, my sister's sunfire was not starting properly (sometimes would not start, sometimes did) and this was determined that when she brought it in for a Technical Service Bulliten Recall regarding the ignition wiring, The GM tech over torqued the connecting bolts on the solenoid and ultimately rotating the contact inside the solenoid (plastic housing on the solenoid, not a good design) and the resulting damage on the solenoid required a replacement to correct the issue.
