Just picked up a 2000 Sunfire. I have no dash lights or tail lights. When the head light switch is moved from off to park or headlights it blows the I/P fuse. Headlights come on normally as do brake lights and turn signals. I have checked the connection under the battery tray along with the grounding point there. I am going to be replacing the headlight switch and hoping that this solves the issue.
Also I have removed all bulbs and disconnected the connection under the battery tray and still have the fuse blow.
Hopefully someone else has had this issue and can help point me in the right direction. Thanks for the help.
