I'm trying to replace my MAF sensor, but I'm having trouble. I've taken off from the air filter to the throttle body. I still can't find it. Everyone I talk to, says its near my air filter, but I've looked 3 different times. I'm stuck, and I don't want to spend an arm and a leg at a mechanic shop. Please help!!

You cannt find it because your engine doesnt have one. What are you trying to do?

2.4L Engine

Well, my car died in the middle of road, and i was able to get to autozone to check the error codes, my check engine light came on. It sad throttle body, vacum hoses, MAF Sensor, bnk 1 ricer then bank too. I replaced my fuel filter, and it cranked right up, but then it dies maybe 1-2 seconds later. the tail pipe has liquid coming out as the engine sputters. it turns over, but doesnt stay on. Its currently not running.

what was the code autozone gave you? are you low on engine coolant? is the interior of the oil filler cap coated with a milky brown substance? before the engine died was it making any unusual noises?

provide the code or codes P....

Skip the MAF sensor and follow the other suggestions especially concerning vacuum leaks

If the motor is a 2.4, you only have a bank 1 sensor 1 or 2. Look for a vacuum leak in the hoses and or the throttle body tubing.
