2001 3.4 V6 Front engine cover

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT 3.4. I need the front engine cover that the water pump mounts in. The water pump is the only thing that mounts in it but it goes all the way across the motor. I have a busted one unrepairable so I have to replace the whole front cover. It is the cover behind the lower timing cover. I have been unable to locate one so the car is a paper weight at this time not able to drive it at all.

are you saying you went to a GM dealer to buy a new one, or you are just looking in junk yards?

Did both. GM wont order say they can't don't make it anymore. Can't find one in a junkyard either unless I buy a whole motor.

check this site ,sometimes they have a diagram of the parts and how they attach to the engine. If you have a part number that makes it easy.
