The latest is thanks for all the info and help. But the Grand Am is headed for the junk pile. They found the line from the overflow to the radiator return was clogged with stop-leak. Also another line from the overflow was clogged too. After cleaning out the clogs and burping the system it still continues to overheat. Especially when the A/C is on. Pull up to a red light and it goes to overheat. Just drive it down and it goes to overheat. Whoever put the stop-leak in the engine wanted that to fix their problem instead of doing it the right way. RIP
