Hi all,
So here's my problem and I'm hoping someone can help me out, back in may I started having my engine light come on with greater and greater frequency over the course of a week or so before the battery died completely. So I took it to the shop and got the alternator replaced and figured everything would be good now. Well a month ago the same thing happened, and this time when I took it to the shop they give it a bit closer of a look, and the alternator would charge when the car was idling but as soon as it got any rpm's the charge would drop. So we replaced the alternator again, and the battery this time too and everything seemed to be good. Well yesterday the light came back on again, and my check engine light has been on for a couple of days. So is there something destroying alternators? Have any of you heard of anything like this before?
Thanks
