2001 Pontiac Grand Am passenger side power window and power moon roof don't work?

I have 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. Recently the front passenger side power window stopped working. It is stuck all the way up and won't roll down. Also, my power moon roof won't open either. I found that for the window typically the regulator needs to be replaced, but i was wondering if with the moon roof thing they were linked making it not the regulator in the door the cause of the issue. Any advice on what the issue is would be much appreciated as it is summer and hot and having a working window and moon roof would make it much more pleasant to drive in the hot weather.
