2001 pontiac Grand am won't start and the security light is on but not blinking and

the car won't turn over ? I have had problems with this car starting and have had to over ride the security system by waiting 10 min with the key on but this time it won't work, the security system light is on but it's not blinking and the car won't turn over. Any suggestions?

Start from the battery and see if it okay. If after a push start, there are no problems, then your battery needs change.
