replacement? As most other 3.4L GM motors I beleive my intake is leaking anit-freeze. Once a week when I start the van up it has a knocking sound that goes away after a couple of minutes. Anti-freeze is going down a little every two or three weeks. Does anybody have a step by step procedure on the replacement. I don't want to pay top dollar for this. Which brand gaskets are the best? Thanks

Just a suggestion. Before you start replacing parts, go to a garage and have them do a pressure test on on the cooling system. Make sure of where the leak is. If you don't, even doing it yourself, it can get expensive.

Your best bet is to get a Chiltons or Haynes repair manual. There quite a few steps, but it is not really that hard. Just meke sure that when you pull the pushrods out to remove the gasket that they are labeled and go back in the same spot. Any decent gasket set will work, I've had great luck with Fel-Pro. Good luck!
