my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 is constantly running very hot near 200 degrees.
the water pump, coolant tank, temperature sensor, cooling fan, radiator, radiator hoses, thermostat and housing are all relatively new and there are no leaks. i cannot be sure if all the air has been purged. not sure how to do this with that little valve on the top of the pipe. and not sure if the heater core could be clogged or how to check this. the engine is from a junk yard and there is rust in the engine.
any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
