My dad has my car jacked up on the passenger's side to try to bleed the air from the cooling tank or whatever causes it to overheat that has to do with anti-freeze and stuff XD. He left it tilted like that for a night and a day (almost 24 hrs) and with the cap off of the overflow tank the car didn't overheat AS bad, but when he replaced the cap the temperature just kept rising again. Is it possible we need to leave the car jacked up for longer? Or should the air be gone by now? He also tried running it a few times to try to burn it out but he has to turn it off when it starts overheating really bad. To be clear my radiator isn't broken, we just replaced the thermostat and one of the hoses, and we seriously doubt a head gasket is broken.
