2001 Pontiac Sunfire wont start?

2001 Pontiac Sunfire
112000 miles

Just drove from LA to Fort Worth with no issues. Let it sit overnight. Woke up this morning and now it won't start. The engine turns over. There is a half tank of gas. Headlights/radio turn on. No blown fuses. Trying to avoid paying an arm and a leg by fixing it myself. Any ideas?

first thing i would check is see if the engine was getting gas. it could be a clogged fuel filter then i would check for spark at the plugs. it could be the coil went out or the module.

You might check the ignition leads are not damp.
