The right power sliding door on 2001 Montanna won't open. When I hit the open button, I hear it unlatch, but it will not open. I cleaned all the contacts and checked the fuse. It is very difficult to open and close it manually.

hi,
I had the same problem with mine. what i replace the contacts on the door and the contact on the van. i just when to the local salvage yard and put them of a other montana. i started with the plate and it ended up being the contacts themselves that was the problem. The good thing about that u can put it from any montana, venture, or silhouette between 99-03. good luck and hope it helps.

Thanks for the input ,when you talk about the contacts do you mean the ones on the door that stick out ? Wondwe if you could of just tried to clean them up ?

I purchased a used 2000 Montana...passenger side sliding door wont open at all. Lots of clicking going on but nothing...left door opens but not at the push of the button...
