2001 Sunfire GT Transmission Fluid Change

About 125,000 miles on the car, and the transmission has just been noisy, after reading the Tech Service Bulletin to increase the fluid from 1.8 qts to 2.6 qts, I did an internet search and found others have had the same problem and one guy did a test of various fluids and amounts.

I put in 3 full qts of B&M Trick Shift Auto transmission fluid. I can say the car drives smoother and the transmission is smooth.

I wanted to just share my findings.

Yes meant to include that in my post, a manual 5 speed getrag transmission. T
