New guy here... I'm on several other forums by the same name so same guy.
I'm working on an 02 Aztek AWD and it's having an issue with the what seems to be injectors shutting off around 2500 rpm.
It has new:
plugs, wires,
tps
crank position sensor (both of them)
swapped coils and icm with a known good one
Voltage from alternator is good at 14v and battery connections are clean
No codes
Runs and drives great until you get to about 2500rpm and more than about 1/4 throttle and then it's like the injectors just shut off. Would suspect catcon but I disconnected the exhaust and condition still exists.
ECM?
Fuel pressure is good both at idle and at speed
Checked spark via timing light at both idle and at speed, and while it was acting up.
I'm working on this car as an outreach that our church does for low income and disadvantaged people. In this case it's an older woman with a ton of health issues that can't afford to throw parts at it.
