I bought a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am with 99,000 miles on it just a few months ago. The window on my driver's side quit. I went to the car dealer and they said it needs a new motor. Where do I get one?

Also a friend of mine with a cigarette did some damage to my interior roof. It is just in one area, but I don't like looking at it. Do I have to reupholster the whole interior roof?

Thank you for any help.

Have you tried your local auto parts store? If they cannt get it try www.gmpartsdirect.com.
You can try and find some tape that is a similar color or go to an auto upholstery shop to see if they have an idea

I replaced the window regulator motor in my 96 just a couple of months ago (driver's side door). The motor cost me $35.00 at O'Reilly's. Removal and installation was relatively simple for me. If you do it yourself, take your time and pay attention to how parts are removed and then replace in kind.

Another place to check for parts is Amazon. There parts finder works great and the parts are usually cheaper.
