My car, even when not driving, will have water sitting where the spare tire goes. This has been going on for awhile. The whole area is rusted. Also wet today after it rained the left side of the trunk was slightly damp. The weather stripping seems perfectly fine. Ran hose for couple mins over trunk earlier and saw no wTer getting in....any ideas?

have a friend place you in the trunk with a flashlight and look for the leak while they hose down the trunk and back window . In addition to the weather stripping it could be the back window seal.
Found the issue - couldn't before since I had the trunk liner in, took that out and realized there was a hole, looked like it was drilled, behind the tail light. I'm not sure why someone would put it there, but it was outside of the gasket/seal that the factory has for the actual tail light screws. Water came in through that-sealed it and hope that works. Thanks!
