2003 grnd am 2.2 compressor not engaging

Hi I have a 2003 2.2 grnd am and the compressor is not engaging, I have come to realize that the cooling fans do not seem to come on either, I need to know where the temp sensor is for this car and any oother troubleshooting help would be appreciated

Now I noticed that the cooling fans are not running? anyone know where the temp sensor is located on a 2003 2.2 grand am

the cooling fans wont come on for A/C if the compressor doesnt engage. Do the cooling fans come on if the engine is idling and the gauge temperature climbs? You probably are low on refrigerant perventing the compressor from engaging. Try one of the auto parts stores recharge kits.
