2003 pontiac Grand Am Won't Start?

Hers what happen just out of know where the car did not start so i went to jump it and i crossed the wires on the cables on the car i have took off the alternator and had it check it was fine the parts place said that something is still running that there is power being drawn out somewhere within the system

i had the same problem myself. you either shorted out a wire somewhere, or you blew a 30 amp fuse. or theres a more major problem.
