Its startin to feel like I'm gonna have to get new shocks, and I feel this is a good time to start building up my suspension. I plan on keeping it a daily driver but wouldn't mind being able to take it to the track. If anyone has any advice on what route to go with the shocks, I would appreciate any input. This is gonna be my first time building up the suspension on any car, so I don't know what brands are good and the pros and cons of them. Thanks for your time and any help anyone can give me.

what kind of race track, drag racing or road course?

pretty much the only 3 to consider if u want handling and plan on lowering...... kyb Agx's (NOT gr2's), Tokico D-specs, and koni yellows.

for a daily driver that may see the track from time to time i'd suggest eibach's pro-kit for lowering springs. 1.25 drop all the way around, amazing handling. All the struts i listed above will hold up to them although with the d-specs and yellows u get the added adjustable damping.....that being said your also looking at 500-1000$ for a set vs the 300-450$ u can get agx's for.

if you have the cash i'd highly suggest coil overs, i ran Ground Control coils(eibach's) with yellows before i had my airride. Excellent street/strip, fully adjustable excellent handling. Teni also makes a good coil over aswell.

if your looking for handling one of the best things u can buy is a addco or eibach rear sway bar, about $200 and it will be the best suspension mod u do i promise.

If you need to know how to remove the rears, this video will show you how to do it.
