2004 Bonneville Gauge Swap

So this may already be posted somewhere, but I have a 2004 Bonneville and the gauges have pretty much completely gone out. I really like the GXP gauges and I have a buddy who totalled his gxp and the gauges all work is it possible to just plug and play or do I have to go and get these gauges from the junk yard? thanks in advanced.

I would assume you can swap the cluster but what additional functions do these gauges have and you do realize they would require a sender of some sort. Since you have a V6 and GXP had a V8 there may be issues. This post outlines some of the problems.
