hello GA forum , i have an 04 that if you let sit for a few days
it gets sluggish when starting , if you start it every couple of day's
then it does just fine. needless to say i have let it sit for
about 4 days now and you guessed it wont start .

what could be the problem with this starting issue ? better yet
are there any suggestions just to get it started again and i will
just keep starting it every other day :) .

any suggestions or answer's appreciated . thx for your time

granderman .

o yea, it does have an engine light on but its been on forever
every-time a mechanic has reset it it just keeps going back on
so we just pay it no mind .

If you ignore the light how do you know when you really have a problem? You now have to determine if you have no fuel pressure or no spark. Can you do a fuel pressure test? When is the last time the fuel filter was changed? Can you check for spark at the coil packs?

thx for the reply . was able to get it running again so none of that was an issue
for some reason after a few (5 or more ) days it doesn't want to start . i don't know if
the fuel evaporates or goes back in the fuel line .

but once its running again does fine starts fine and will keep doing so, until
i let it set to long .

i don't have a engine light on . the "service engine soon" light is what is staying on
srry about that . no matter how many times we or a mechanic reset it just goes
back on .

again thx to the forums kindness .

the SES light throws a code in the computer, your mechanic should be able to check the code. You could have a leaky injector or poor fuel pressure or a pump on it's way out but somebody has to do a fuel pressure test.
