2004 Glovebox hinge???

So my glovebox came off it's .... hinge? After some research it would be now known to me that my Aztec's glove box has no "hinge" it's simply molded into the plastic when made. This is something I expect from a foreign car but American made? well.. anyway there seems to be no ''hinge'' to purchase nor can I find a replacement glove box ANYWHERE to buy. A couple of mechanics requested adapting a hinge from the hardware store... how ugly would that be!?? Does ANYONE have any solutions to this problem.. please post your thoughts. Thank you!

have you looked at www.gmpartsdirect.com or a local junk yard?

Thank you... I ended up purchasing a piano hinge and taking out the entire glove box & repairing it that way. Lots of patience but it's fixed now.
