Hi to everyone my 2004 montana has a clicking noise coming from the cruise control box under the hood but stops when cruise is turned off on steering wheel' also cruise stopped working. has anyone had such a problem has 142k miles no problems until now? will appreciate any help from anyone I have not posted much so I hope I am doing this ok! Thank Tom

this link covers some basic tests for diagnosing an issue with the cruise control system, if you check a Hanes or Chilton manual there may be other tests you can perform

2004 montana cruise clicking
I tried just answers no help but how ever since the clicking is coming out of the cruise module under the hood would it be safe to think the module is bad; and can can it be repaired I could not get it apart with the four screws removed has anyone else had such a problem it seemed to be super glued umm priced some out new 300+ has any got a good used one heeeelp! try local salvage/junk yards for a used one or www.car-parts.com
