2004 pontiac gas smell

i have a 2004 pontiac, filled it up with gas one day, and ever since then, when i turn on the heater, no matter what position, (floor, defrost etc. etc.) i geta real bad gas smell, i figured it would go away, but, i filled it up last week, and its still there, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance

What size engine? Try starting the car on a non-windy day, pop the hood and try to locate that source. If the smell is real strong when opening the hood, SHUT THE CAR OFF!
