okay the car was running just fine until got off the interstate. then it started to act up like it had no power. shut if off and in the cab it started to smell like rotten eggs and the eng. will not turn over now. we put a gm mod up to it and it said cylinderer 2 has miss fire, would that be the only thing wrong or could something else and its just not throwing up a code. sorry i have a 2004 pontiac grand am. i has been running perfect until last Friday when water pump went and i had that fixed and it ran fine since until about 2 hours ago.
I replaced the water pump and it was on the side of the eng. right on top didnt have to mess with the heads. it was the easiest one i have ever done in my life. and i have checked the heads before i even started the eng. up after i repaced the water pump they are fine. funny thing was i was going to replace the plugs and wires this weekend because something in my gut told me that there might be something wrong with them.
