I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand AM which started for feel like the car about to stall when ever i back up or turning left or right. the check engine light came one when it first started i took it to a shop where they said it was a miss fire they change the spark wires but it still continued. i drove it and the check engine light kept blinking while driving.

a flashing engine light mean an emission related problem
first u need the code
then really you need a gm scanner to check the cylinder miss fire
u also may need to test the injector system
this is best done with the right equipment
a gm shop has a active fuel test machine which checks injectors works great
but if u could someone who could do a live test like this that would help
live test work best for these problems

kennyB,

I would recommend taking your vehicle to your local GM dealership. They will be able to provide you with a diagnosis of the vehicle. It is always best to take your vehicle to an authorized GM dealership for repairs and regular maintenance. This way, all repairs and maintenance can be documented. Please keep us posted if the problem has been taken care of.
