been noticing for a month or so when I make a full turn and if I go over a bump theres a slight clunk .. then this weekend went to my cousins in bush land !! lol lots of pot holes !! and every pot hole hit there was a loud clunk . sounded like the hole fro t end was going to drop !! any suggestions as to what might be wrong ? and what I should be inspecting ... thx

start with looking for a broken stabilizer link or shock absorber.

like mel said and check for a broken front sway bar near the eye hole for the stabilizer pins, had one crack there on my 2000 and a 99 regal.

wasnt in the van for a day ..due to turkey overdose , but took the van out for a few errands today, and yeah basikly any overszed bump in the road or driveway entrances theres a clunk from the front wheel area both sides !!

took the van into my buddys shop to lift the van up .. turns out both lower control arm bushings are both pooched .. which causes the control arm to slam up against the frame ... bushings just under $20 each and hes charging me $100 to do each side

glad you found it and sounds like a great price also, helps knowing people. How many miles on ur van?

I have approx 180 000 . have had the van for about 10 months now !! picked it up off the same mechanic friend for $900.00 then scored a nice set of aluminum rims with 4 brand new tires for $200 .. put all new brakes on it front and back and it runs pretty good .. if I get 2 yrs out of it ill be happy !!

not 1 inch of rust anywere on the van ! not even on the rockers..
