2005 Pontiac Sunfire Clutch

Very Strange,
The clutch peddle randomly stays on the floor while shifting.
Clutch itself is disengaged and stays disengaged as long as the peddle is on the floor.
Clutch itself was replaced 2-3 months ago because the owner was convinced that the peddle staying on the floor meant the clutch was bad.
No real fluid loss from the system.

Is there a rubber hose in the clutch hydraulic system, may have collapsed.

By any chance is it your floor mat. I had issues with mine interfering with a few things & took it out.
