2005 Sunfire Aftermarket radio install trouble?

Okay, I took the old one out, Matched the wires accordingly.
But when it is all plugged up. It gets power, but the screen doesnt light up. and my doors quit that annoying ding sound...HELP

did you buy a GM adaptor that most electronics store and Walmart carry to retain all functions? Is this a new or used radio?
