Let me try this again. flagging me as spam. i'm not spam.

I have a 2005 sunfire. About a month ago when I turned on the car the radio presets were gone. It was fine after that until 4 days ago.The last 4 days in a row I'll turn the car on and the presets are gone again. I kept reseting them. I asked a few friends about this. Some people said battery, alternator and my friend looked on google reading about a blown or loose fuse or wire. I have no warning lights on my dashboard so it can't be the alternator, That and the battery are originals. Could it be the actual radio? I would upgrade but right now I'm broke and the bills keep piling in.

I had a 96 sunfire before i got this one in sept of 09. when I traded it in the radio display would sometimes not light up and you didn't see the time or which station you were on.My warranty for the 05 has a $100 deductible. Right after I got the car before getting it inspected one of the power window switchs went out. It was $110 to replace. WOOO they covered $10 bux!
I thought it was best to ask about the actual make and model of the car before anyone looks at it. If it's the battery then just when it doesn't start I got AAA so i can get the battery service to come out with a battery. If it's not the battery then i can just live with it for awhile. No biggie bringing a cd or scanning stations. I really want a radio with a ipod jack. I have the plug in radio thing but its staticy and then you'll hear the channels coming in with you drive far and have to find another channel.

Is this something that could be caused by multiple things?

It can only be a loose wire going to the radio or an internal radio problem. If it was the battery the car wouldnt start.

perfect. thank you. i'll just live with it for a bit then.
