Good evening, I recently bought a 2006 Grand Prix, which I use to get myself to and from school and work.
Upon buying it, the owner (who was the mother of the kid who used to drive it), and I thought that it was a GT model. However, I recently noticed that GT models should have a GT badge on the trunk lid, and my car doesn't.
Here are some details about the car:

-Non-supercharged V6 engine
-Black leather interior
-Electric sunroof
-Steering wheel radio controls
-Monsoon head unit & audio system
-The steering wheel cap has the triangular Pontiac logo, not the 'GP' cap
*Edit: I'm not sure what rims the car came with originally, it only came with black steelies when I bought it

I tried doing some research myself, and didn't come to much of a conclusion. Results on the web weren't helping me answer much, and I put my VIN into 6 different sites, 5 of which wouldn't tell me the trim and the 6th told me I had a base model.
So did I buy a GT that is simply missing the GT badge, or do I have loaded Base Model Grand Prix? I'm hoping someone who knows a lot more about this stuff can help me out here.
I can provide more little details about the car if necessary.
Thanks a bunch guys!

Does it have a single exhaust in the back or two, GT is two.

Two mufflers in the back.

The car has been in an accident in its life, so it's possible that it doesn't have the original trunk lid.

Loved my new 2006 GT. Base GP had steelies, but you could option it ala carte with what you wanted.
