• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Thanks in advance for the advice. Double dog thanks for my awesome gear head son.

I am an idiot when it comes to turning wrenches.

Somewhat. I am probably middle ground from ignorant vs competent. I can change my oil. I can read online instructions. My son is a born gear head if there ever was one. My nine year old can tell you the make and model of a car just by looking at the body and taillights. He would have grease under his nails everyday if he was in charge. He reads car mags in bed to get himself ready to sleep.

... glad to be here. please help if you can.
