• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Thank you for letting me know about this site sir ;) little bit about me I retired from the Marine Corps last year and now live in Tampa Fl. I bought the GTO new in Feb 2006 since then I've been modding and racing her as I go.

Quick specs on the cars major mods. Forged Ironblock LQ9 with the APS Extreme twin turbo kit. Return style fuel system, RPS/Streetslayer twin disk carbon carbon clutch, 1000hp driveshaft axles and axle stubs along with 3:07 gears out back. I have a tuner i use but i do most of the tuning on my own. One of my goals is to run the mile event and break 200mph in the standing mile. I was at 830rwhp with 14lbs of boost but I had to turn down the boost, clutch is rated at 750 and started slipping during full boost runs. Ill post up pics in a few. My GTO is black with red interior my wife has a 2006 Brazen Orange with black interior but its mostly stock.

fascinating article and loved the "afterburners" kicking in on the dyno! Good luck with it.

Welcome aboard, Rick! And thank you for signing up. It sounds like you and I have one thing in common - 10 second daily drivers - even if the driver isn't capable of it. :p I have a 2000 S4 that's just about ready to hit the pavement and SHOULD be a high 10 second car. I guess we'll see...

That's great to do your own tuning. Really awesome. I'm in Royal Palm Beach - on the other side...
