2006 Pontiac Torrent Thumping Noise in front left wheel area

Hi all,
Got a funny thing going on with my torrent. Its a 2006 and i have been hearing a noise coming from my front left wheel area. The noise is only heard at real low speeds like going through a parking lot and when going over small bumps and inperfections in the pavemant. I jacked the car up and left if anything was loose and it was not. Not sure it i should put it on a rack with the suspension loaded up to see if anything is loose. Anybody out there have a similar problem? Any and all help wouls be appriciated. By the way my torrent has 90000 miles on it.

have you car checked on a lift for bad wheel bearing or CV joint

Noise in front end

Unfortunatly i jacked the car up and looked around and felt to see if anything was loose. I will have to try and get it on a lift like you suggest.

Rattling noise in front, end maybe sway bar links?

Hi,
Has anyone changed the front sway bar links/bushings on there 2006 torrent? If so what was the reason for doing so and was it an wasy fix and most all did it stop the noice in the front end? I do not know what else to look for. Thanks in advance

Did you have the CV joints checked?

Got to the root of the problem. Turned out to be the sway bar end links. I changed out both the left and the right side and the noise went away. The left side had some slop in it and the right one looked good?
