2006 Pontiac Torrent?

I am trying to jump a 2006 pontiac torrent. I can find the positive terminal but I cannot find the negative terminal. I have searched all around the battery and engine and cannot find a negative terminal. Even the battery cap only shows a positive terminal. Can anyone tell me where the negative terminal is? A picture or diagram will help. Thank you.

just attach the negative jumper cable to any bare metal on the engine, the negative battery terminal is probably covered by the battery's plastic cover.

The battery is encased in a plastic box. The positive lug is available so you can jump start the car as melsg5 said.
