2007 Montana sv6 no heat at idle

Hello new to the forum. we aquired a 07 Montana. the issue that has developed is that there is no heat at idle. As soon as you step on gas instant heat. Coolants good just wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue. thank you 3.9l v6
 
what does your temperature gauge read at idle, if too low your thermostat may be stuck in the open position
 
x2 check thermostat. also you said antifreeze level is good ? maybe air trapped in system ? anybody change the water pump or hoses latley ? or add any antifreeze ?
 
gauge is normal. comes up to operating temp normally and doesnt flux. no work has been done to this van besides oil changes and a couple bearings.

Are you still experiencing this issue? If you are I would recommend that you contact your local GM dealer and have them look into this for you. I would recommend saving your money unless you absolutely have to take it to a shop
