2008 pontiac torrent noise??

I have a 2008 pontiac torrent and when i go over a rain puddle or drive in the snow I hear a sound coming from the right front almost like a babbling sound and there is a lost of power from the gas paddle. Ifyou let go of the gas paddle the noise goes away and about 10 seconds there is power back to the engine

Noticed the same thing with mine once last summer during heavy rain so I took it into the dealership. Service rep. said it was normal and that his '08 Torrent does the same thing although he couldn't explain it. Wouldn't hurt to check it out just the same while its still under warranty.

The Traction Control Sensor is bad. It is not "normal". If the service rep doesn't know what it is, I wouldn't take my Torrent to that dealership. Some can be taken care of by having them re-calibrate the sensors. If not then they need to replace the hub. (The traction control sensor and the ABS sensor are mounted in the hub as an assembly)
