• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Greetings: Our machine shop obtained a 326 long block. Standard bore with little wear, good rods, standard crank not worn but enough surface rust to need a clean-up grind, heads with valves, etc. and many new parts.

We're unfamiliar with the 326s, have done several 389s, 400s, etc.. Does this package have enough worth for us to advertise it either "as is" or worked on?

We know the sexy stuff starts at 389 but hate to deprive someone who needs a 326 for a Tempest or Lemans this material.

Appreciate any information you might have. Regards, Ralph Boineau in central South Carolina

I'm sure there are people out there doing a restoration who would love to have it. As you know for the right price you will be able to sell it. These days E-Bay or Criags List seems to be the best place to get a feeling for what people are trying to get for them.
