• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... i am building a dune buggy and my engine is going to be a gm 38000 engine and tranny. my question is if i tilt the motor about 15 degrees example ( going from this angle l to this \ ) with the engine and tranny be properly oiled? my reason is because the the engine is going to be rear mounted and rear wheel drive and if i have it in stand upright angle the drive shafts will hit the tranny when the a arms move up and down.

You may end up with excessive fluid collecting in a valve cover depending on location of drain back to pan, cannt really say for sure though.

The tranny will be a bigger issue they can't be tilted much or fluid will not get picked up.
