455 Changeover

Probally a Good idea to take everything out , torque the mains back to spec and take the piston and rod assembly ( minus the rod bearing) for that bad cylinder with you. So basicly a bare block.......................

They more than likely you might have to redo new cam bearings after the wash job.( be sure to ask)

That will also mean freeze plugs and oil galley plugs might have to come out also.

JUST REMEMBER TO MARK EVERYTHING IN ORDER WHEN YOU TAKE IT OUT.

Mark and bag all your bolts, number your rods and pistons and leave them complete.

You dont want them or you to lose anything............

Good idea is to "mark" your mains and main bolts too with a dab of paint.

Write the block ID number down too somewhere for safe keeping, better safe than sorry...

( Call them to be sure what they need , take the least amount possible)

Machine shops are really busy this time a year..
