If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have a 55 Pontiac 2 Door Hardtop. The seats need to be redone. I saw a great set of Tri-5 seats for Chevy that are bench, with split back and center armrest. These would be great if they bolt in. My seats are original bench with split back to allow for entry to back seat. Anyone know if these will bolt in? Anything I should be aware of?

Unless you find someone who has done the exact same thing, you will need to measure your seat track including location of holes and the overall dimensions of the seat and find out the same values for the Chevy.

Great minds as they say. I have a friend out west who has access to both his custom 55 Pontiac and a 56 Chevy. He is going to do that for me. I read in a Chevy forum where a guy had a Chevy and was asking if a set of Pontiac seats would fit. Sounds like the front will bolt in, but the back do not match up. Its only the front I'm worried about.

Let us know how it works out, valuable information for anyone else who tries this.
