Could someone please remind me which direction the front fender louvers are supposed to face? I've been restoring for so long that I can't remember. Internet pictures are not clear enough. Thanks.

Wow, I didn't know there was such a thing. I have various service manual PDFs, but not the AIM. Are the pictures decent in AIM? Pictures in the service manuals are pretty poor.

The pictures can vary year by year but for any kind of quality restore you need it.

To anyone reading this thread:
1. I found a home picture of my car before restoration. The fender louvers face forward as if they are scooping air into the engine compartment. The rounded side goes toward rear of car.
2. I tried to find a 1966 Lemans assembly instruction manual. Not sure they exist for the '66 model. 1967 does exist and would of course have many similarities to the '66 assembly process.
