Does anyone have any ideas / references on where I can find a battery tray for my 66 Catalina? I checked Frank's Pontiac and Ames but haven't been able to locate one yet. Thanks for any help!
I found something on Full Size Pontiacs Club site about a company in Minnesota named Pontiac Paradise making battery trays for the 1965 Catalina and starting on 1966 next. It gives information on who to call and contact via email.
I have made my own trays when I couldn't find one. I paint the steel tray with Aircraft, battery box black, 345 Acid Proof Paint from Randolph Aircraft Products. It is oil based and contains Asphalt. The important thing is to use three heavy coats. Good luck on your quest.
Thx. I replied to the website and was told that some were on order but no delivery committed to. Guess I will have to make one unless I find a used one. Thx
