Greetings, I am looking at a 68 catalina convertible. Two questions: were fender skirts offered as an option from the factory? And, was the factory set up steel wheels with hubcaps? any other options? car I'm looking at has hubcaps one side and like torque thrust on the other (odd, I know).
Thanks, appreciate any help, Larry

Thanks for quick reply. Script on front fender does indicate Catalina. I only mention the skirts because a 68 Catalina sold a couple years ago on Bring a Trailer and it had skirts--probably aftermarket.

My 70 Cat has provisions for skirts , I have the build sheet and they are not listed as an option , maybe the dealers where installing them back in the day? I dont care for them.

Thanks, good point about provisions for skirts--this would be some sort of connecting latch or way to attach, I assume.

I stand corrected I found a build sheet in the upper rear seat , skirts were a option on my 70, t58 they call them upper wheel covers
