69 front end in a 68

I recently bought a 68 convertible that the previous owner bolted a 69 front bumper and valance on. I want to make it correct with a 68 bumper. Are the brackets the same or will I need to find brackets and a bumper to do this?

the 1983 parts book shows the two different bumpers for 68 and 69 but no longer had listings for any attachment brackets

I would look for a Bumper with Brackets, or at least find someone in your area with a 68 Lemans or Tempest and compare what you have to what is on the 68.

Unfortunatly there is a lot of knowledge about swapping out GTO front ends, but not a lot about swapping different Lemans front ends.

I’ll do that cammerjeff I keep looking in the parts catalogs and can’t really determine the correct facts. Thanks for the input. Hope I can help one day!
