Is it possible to turn a non-ram air hood into a ram air hood? they look the same underneath.

If you are skilled at body work you can turn any hood into some type of Ram Air system with scoops. You can buy a fiberglass Formula hood for about $479 and a steel Trans Am hood for $529

I have the formula hood. I was wanting to keep it looking stock. I was hoping that I could just cut open my scoops and buy the air cleaner and the kit to match it to the air cleaner.
