just bought a 71 lemans and the dash lights wont come on at all only have ligh beam and right turn signal that does not blink when turned on checked all bulbs they were good {just bought the car}

For the dash lights, are you aware that by turning the headlight switch you can turn them off completely, have you checked that? Have you checked if the bulbs are burned out in the dash? Have you checked for blown fuses?
Does the dash light for the right turn signal come on and not blink? If it does recheck both front and rear bulbs, they are dual filament, make sure both are good. Also check the socket with a volt meter to see if you have power.
On the high beam have you checked the switch on the floor to see if it has a melted connector or any other damage?

the bulbs all checked out and was good is there a ground that ties in the place where all the bulbs tie into the back plastic circuit board where the copper strips run bulb to bulb

if you intend to keep this car you should invest in the Chasis Service Manual from a source such as www.amesperf.com . Would have to look at manual to determine grounding method but do the sockets have 12 volts?

thanks that will be my weekend project check 12 volts and i was told to make sure there is a gray wire connected let you know how it turns out
